We don't recommend it. For the best chance of reimbursement, pay with a regular credit or debit card and then submit your receipt and Letter of Medical Necessity to your HSA/FSA administrator.
Most administrators approve claims within a few business days once you submit your receipt and LMN. Typical payout is within 1–2 weeks, though it varies by administrator.
No. Your Letter of Medical Necessity is typically valid for 12 months. You just need to submit your receipts each time — no new survey required until your LMN expires.
You can still submit for partial reimbursement. Whatever amount is in your account can be recovered tax-free — the remainder is just paid normally.
FSA dollars typically expire December 31st and don't roll over. If you have funds sitting unused, now is a great time to put them toward your MindFuel practice.
Contact Truemed directly at support@truemed.com. They'll help troubleshoot with your administrator. If they can't resolve it, they'll refund your Truemed fee.
